Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
Welcome to Windsor South Public School — a vibrant, inclusive, and community-minded school located on the traditional lands of the Boorooberongal people of the Dharug Nation. At Windsor South, we believe every child can thrive when they feel safe, known, and valued. Our dedicated staff work closely with families to create strong relationships and provide a nurturing environment where students are encouraged to be curious, confident, and compassionate learners. We take pride in our “Southie Family” culture, where kindness, connection and high expectations sit side-by-side.
Our teaching and learning programs are grounded in the Science of Learning and evidence-based practice. Across the school, you will see explicit teaching, structured literacy and numeracy routines, and supportive classroom systems that help every student succeed. We are strongly committed to equity, ensuring Aboriginal students, students with disability, and students from diverse backgrounds experience meaningful opportunities and strong growth. Our staff engage in ongoing professional learning and collaborative planning to ensure our students receive a high-quality education every day.
We are also a proud community school with strong partnerships and a wide range of opportunities that enrich student life. From performing arts, sport, cultural events, and leadership programs, to wellbeing initiatives like structured play, attendance incentives, and our Play First Eat Second routines — our aim is to develop capable, resilient young people who contribute positively to both school and community. We warmly welcome you to explore our website, visit our school, and experience firsthand the spirit and pride of Windsor South Public School.
